Prominent Pakistani television host and actress Nadia Khan has called out veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari for his controversial statements regarding women’s attire and behavior.
In a recent episode of her show “Kia Drama Hai,” Khan expressed her disapproval of Sabzwari’s tendency to comment on and criticize the way women dress.
“I think it’s okay if he only talks about himself, but I have a problem when he passes judgments on women,” Khan said.
Sabzwari, known for his roles in classic Pakistani television dramas, has recently garnered attention for his outspoken views on various societal issues. In a recent podcast, he reportedly criticized his ex-daughter-in-law and other women for their choices in clothing.
Khan, who is known for her fearless and outspoken nature, did not hold back in her criticism of Sabzwari’s remarks. She stated that the actor has made a habit of targeting women and voicing his disapproval of their attire and behavior.
“Sometimes, he talks against me, it has become a pattern now,” Khan said, adding that she appreciated actress Hina Bayat’s recent video addressing Sabzwari’s controversial statements.
Khan’s comments echo the sentiments of fellow actress Marina Khan, who also emphasized that actors should be mindful of their role as public figures and refrain from making disparaging remarks against others.
